Snow Day

I remember going to bed anxious, double-checking the weather forecast, putting ice in my toilet, and flipping my pj’s inside out. Snow days were always so magical to me in elementary school. Waking up to see the trees and roof of my home blanketed in soft white snow meant no school, and a cup of chocolate waiting for me downstairs before I went out to play. With school being online, “staying home” from school isn’t nearly as magical - but after being stuck inside for the pandemic, a day of winter wonderland brought back those magical feelings I had felt in elementary. I didn’t take many, but here are some photos I captured while out in the snow.
